Wedding Silhouettes

Silhouettes By Hand just cut silhouette portraits of guests at an intimate, darling wedding. The bride loved silhouettes, and especially wanted to portrait her loved ones.

(To protect the privacy of the wedding party and the location, these photos will show very little of the setup or the people).

Silhouettes are becoming more popular for weddings and social events. One of the reasons for the increased popularity is the way that silhouette portraits give a nostalgic feel to any event, even the most modern event format. Another very exciting reason that silhouettes are popular is due to the custom, artistic touch offered by a hand-created portrait – especially for guests to remind them of the unique event.

The wedding was held at a historic-era mansion house. The silhouette table had a sign inviting the guests to have a portrait made. Lauren cut each guest’s portrait, as well as the bride and the groom.

The bride enjoyed the opportunity to use the second set of portraits (Silhouettes By Hand cuts two portraits at the same time) for the wedding book, and one set of portraits were given to the guests.
