Join the Fairfax County history community as the county celebrates its 275th Anniversary on the grounds adjacent to the historic Courthouse in Fairfax. The day's events which are free and open to the public include: family friendly activities, live entertainment, history exhibits, living history, historical organization booths and displays and more!  

A colonial market fair and food trucks will be on site as dining options and the event will feature speeches from county officials and guests throughout the day.  Come join us for a day of historical fun!

Silhouettes By Hand will be cutting silhouettes at this "historic" event, wearing the clothing of the heyday of silhouettes - the Federal period. Anyone can listen for free to the stories of the historical silhouette artists, and anyone can take home their own silhoeutte for a small fee.
