”The ethos behind the Lost Trades Fair is one of discovery; introducing you to the talented makers in [Australia] that are pursuing careers in lost arts, rare trades and forgotten crafts. Artisans at the fair will be demonstrating and sharing their trades skills throughout each day. Freshly prepared food & drinks, tea and coffee are onsite (Vegetarian & GF food options). We support locally made & have a strict drinks policy - no prepackaged soft drinks or cans and no alcohol.”
Tradition, craftsmanship, skill. Lost arts, rare trades and heritage crafts. Meet the makers; see how things are made by hand. Blacksmiths, toolmakers, silversmiths, clockmakers, weavers, woodworkers, instrument makers, signwriters, potters, leather workers, tailors - makers of penny farthings, rocking horses, bellows, whips, saddles and boots will join many more traditional artisans from across Australian for the largest traditional trades event in Australia.
EVENT TIMES: 9.30am - 5.00pm.
VENUE: Silks Functions & Events at Bendigo Racecourse, Heinz Street, Ascot, Bendigo VIC 3551
